Woodwalk Gallery opens for its 22nd season on May 1 with “New Works” for its opening exhibit.

The initial exhibit features work by painters Margaret Lockwood, Gary Hanks and Rebecca Crowell. An opening reception will take place from 4:30 to 7 p.m. May 24 with beverages, food and music, along with artist talks at 5:45 p.m.

Woodwalk represents 53 artists in all media, highlighted by the ethereal landscape paintings of gallery owner/artist Lockwood. Also in the gallery are glass works from Doug and Barb Henderson, ceramics by Simon Levin, jewelry by Robin Fleming, whimsical assemblages by Jim Rericha and David Kwasny, handmade paper sculptures by Kirsten Christianson, and large metal from-the-soul sculptures by Dan Bresnahan, among others.
